Love in Action, Impacting One Life at a Time
This summer, One More to Impact, in collaboration with Impact Mission Church (IMC), opened its doors and hearts to the children of our community through our annual Vacation Bible School (VBS), welcoming kids ages 4 –12 for a week filled with faith, fun, and fellowship.
Alongside this powerful time of teaching and joy, One More to Impact also partnered with Peace Residential Care to host our annual Backpack Drive, an outreach designed to equip children and families in our neighborhood with the tools they need for a successful school year.
It all started with a knock; One More to Impact reached out, and Peace Residential Care quickly responded with generosity and open hands. Through the faithful support of our church family and this incredible partnership, we were able to provide backpacks and school supplies that go far beyond pens and notebooks; they represent hope, encouragement, and a reminder that God cares for every detail of our lives.
This year, we were thrilled to pack nearly 80 backpacks filled with complete school supply kits! Each backpack represents more than just preparation; it’s a statement of love, support, and community.
The Backpack Drive is more than just giving away supplies; it’s about living out the love of Christ in tangible ways. Each backpack shared is a seed planted, a testimony of God’s provision, and an opportunity to remind children and parents alike that they are seen, valued, and loved.
At One More to Impact, we believe that serving our community is an extension of the Gospel message. As we pour into the next generation through Vacation Bible School and outreach initiatives like the Backpack Drive, our prayer is that these children will not only be prepared for school; but also inspired to walk confidently in the unique purpose God has placed within them.
We truly enjoyed this initiative, and we look forward to continuing it in the years to come!
